About Kerry Jones: "My research centralises around the San people in Southern Africa, otherwise known as Bushmen. My thesis falls into the category of Anthropological Linguistics and is ethnographic in nature, focusing on language attitudes and language use of the !Xun and Khwe speakers of Platfontein. I have also worked with the Ju/’hoan people from the Tsumkwe region of Namibia in creating a children’s Ju/’hoan picture dictionary, which is trilingual, offering translations from Ju/’hoan into Afrikaans and English."
