Hazel Barnes

Recently retired from Headship of the Drama Studies Department on the Pietermaritzburg campus of the University of KwaZulu Natal, Hazel is now a Senior Research Associate of UKZN. She is an actor and director who has been working in a contract capacity for Drama UCT and the WITS Division of Dramatic Art. This year  she directed a play written by Louise Buchler called Remembering You Like Something I'd Forgotten in conjunction with a London-based company called WeaverHughes Ensemble. It premiered at the Grahamstown Festival.
