Litnet

Ester Levinrad was born in Copenhagen to South African parents and moved to the Deep South(ern Cape) as a ten-year-old. She has spent most of the past nine years in Cape Town, during which time she completed her tertiary education (split between UCT and Stellenbosch), and worked as a magazine journalist, an IT trainer, an English tutor, a TEFL teacher, an “editorial super-ferret” and a waitress. She was also once a chamber maid for two memorable but thankfully short months. Since completing her MA in English Literature, and landing her dream job in book publishing, she trusts her future will prove less chequered than her past.
