Dave Rademan
David is a postgraduate student of classical studies at Rhodes University, Makhanda (Grahamstown), with certifications in welding from Volkswagen in Uitenhage. His interests lie in vintage car restoration; fabrication; writing and research; and the integration of new methodologies and technologies in solving questions related to the ancient world in general, and Hellenistic engineering in particular. He hopes to unite these interests by bringing a novel method of manuscript and artefact preservation, digitisation and analysis to South African universities.
