Colleen Higgs

Colleen Higgs is a writer, publisher and book development activist. She is the author of two collections of poems, Halfborn woman (2004) and Lava lamp poems (2011); a collection of short stories, Looking for trouble and other mostly Yeoville stories (2012); and a memoir, My mother, my madness (2020). She founded Modjaji Books in 2007, and, after publishing more than 150 titles, is still Modjaji’s manager and publisher.
