Litnet

Ashlee Polatinsky is a researcher in literary studies at WISER (Wits Institute for Social and Economic Research) where she works on autobiographical accounts of illness, health, healing and dying. She has a keen interest in good poetry, all cook books, period dramas by the BBC, fish (particularly prehistoric scourers of the very deep ocean), and science documentaries. Although she lives in Johannesburg, she remains a Durbanite.
