Anton Kannemeyer

Anton obtained an MA in Fine Arts at the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa) in 1997 and lectured at the University of Pretoria, Wits Technikon and University of Stellenbosch from 1992 to 2006. He resigned as senior lecturer from the University of Stellenbosch in 2006.
Anton has exhibited his work extensively in South Africa, Europe and the USA. He is currently represented by galleries in New York, Paris and Vienna. To date he has had 16 solo exhibitions and participated in 47 international group exhibitions. His work has appeared in numerous publications and catalogues around the world, and is held in many permanent art collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
