Anton Krueger is a lecturer in the Department of Drama, Rhodes University. He has written numerous plays, which have been nominated for a range of awards, including the FNB Vita and the Olive Schreiner. In 2010 he published Experiments in Freedom: Explorations of Identity in New South African Drama (Cambridge Scholars Publishing), and Sunnyside Sal (Deep South). His poem "nine notes on lisbon" (published in new coin) was a runner up in the Dalro poetry competition of 2009.
