All for Dreams

They wanted to test if I could really stand up and testify
against them and try to justify, myself
And I said just if I could be given a chance to rectify
my actions I'll sure act if I have to
They tried to threaten me with emotional blackmail
not knowing that I'm no soft emotional black male
They always try to bring me down, but I stand firm still
You would swear that I am a stainless steel
Every good deed I do, they always try to spoil it
That’s ‘cause they know I'm the substance you often find in the toilet
They really thought I'd fail, oh well, I guess they thought like idiots

CHORUS:
I'm all for achieving dreams
I'm all for making money
I'm all for having thoughts being implemented, buddy
I'm all for having aspirations reached, buddy
‘Cause I believe dreams can be achieved by anybody

It's funny how people can sometimes be chameleons
Funny how they'd hide their hate until you get your millions
Then they start hating and wonder if you'll ever fry the beef serves
Talking behind your back as they don't have the nerve to face you
I told them simply if I am to be hated for my success
then it’s their problem to simplify
Purely if I tell them where to get off
They'll purify what they say and think of me all the time and glorify
No I won't give up, no I won't, not if I am still alive
I'll make sure that I notify the world of my greatness
and be the little difference, be hope to the nation and sweeten its bitterness

CHORUS

BRIDGE:
It's now in my grasp, it’s all in the palm of my hand
I'm getting what I want, though not in the way that I planned
I thought of giving up 'cause I thought my dreams were all canned
but thanks to God now it gets better in the end (x2)

CHORUS
