"She's not breathing" by Andria Mackinnon

Everybody knows she's not breathing
She is invisible
Everybody uses her, breaks her, abandons her
She can't be herself, (she's not breathing)
Everybody doesn't see for her for who she is ...
She has succeeded in life (no one notices)
She is left in misery
Friends were kind, but they turned their back and ignored the pain she felt inside

She tried to get friends in her
Childhood

But that will never be enough
(She resisted the pain)
She now knows right from wrong
She's old enough now

Sure, she's intricate, but aren't we all?

She's not breathing!
You don't care about me?
I don't care what you say, you are useless and you don't belong here!

I don't care what you say about me anymore! I have moved on.

She's not breathing x 2
