Preferred Band/Artist: AKA

Verse 1:
I'm just a rapper and I ain't trying to preach
But what's music if we can't use it to teach
Take a look at the street violence
Its time to stand up and break the silence
Another brother shot dead
Another mother with hands on her head
Kids in the middle of a gang war
Mothers and fathers can't take it anymore
What does tomorrow hold, what's in store
All the murders, a battle amongst thugs
All for territory all for selling of drugs
Sad to see many lives go to waste
Young ones putting a gun to your face
The dark side of the human race
Unemployed due to lack of education
Now they become angry filled with frustration
Addicted to cocaine and crystal meth
At this rate there will be no more teenagers left
So I'm saying ...

Chorus:
We can't live like this forever
What about the next generation
So let us all save our youth together
Stand united as one nation

Verse 2:
Sitting in your car you gotta watch your back
'Cause you can become a victim of a car hi-jack
For real, I'm just stating the facts
You get robbed from everything until nothing remains
They take your cash ,clothes and chains
Pray you don't get a bullet through your brains
When will it stop nobody knows
Life in the hood this is how it goes
Teenagers dying from drug overdose
Fifteen year olds drinking whole bottles
Gang leaders seem to be their role models
Hustlers trying hard to get rich
But end up dead laying in a ditch
What's the point you make thousands from a drug sale
When tomorrow you get life in jail
Young girls throwing their lives away
Parents crying while they pray for them everyday
Teenage pregnancy
Is the reality
Babies having babies became a normality
Girls selling their bodies and the price is cheap
How did the problems become so deep
Too many brothers and sisters ending up in the cemetery
Gunshots ,suicides and HIV
Put down your guns put down your knives
Increase the peace ,spare each others' lives

Chorus x5
