"No emotion at all" by Marvin Smith

Brick by brick
Layer after layer
The great wall fell to ruin
"The mountain has fallen," the wind cried
It was my doing
I did it
By just briskly passing by
By leaning on it from day to day
As if it was placed there to support me
Me the wind
The symbol of all that is free
Me the master of all the four corners
Conqueror of the seven seas
Me, the wind
Just briskly passing by
Its erosion came mostly at my hand
I took its head
I broke its body
I dislodged its footing
The mountain fell at my hand
Now it lies in ruin
And here I go again
Off to find another
To rub up smooth
To make laugh with my tingle
To catch unaware
And to lay flat on its knees
For I have no heart
Show no emotion
Have no conscience
Have no home
For I can never just remain faithful to one
I have to have them all
The world is filled with mountains
And I'm set to conquer them all
Me, the wind
By just briskly passing by
Bringing mountains to ruin
As I race through the sky
I tear the grounds beneath your feet
And lift you up high
Just to see you fall
With no care in the world
No regrets
With absolutely
No emotion at all
