"Lost Time" by Marvin Smith

Blue skies, white clouds, green grass
Flowers at blossom
Birds at song
Fresh air
Peace and tranquillity
A day on the mountain top
Far from the city
I stalk the stream that flows from the spring
Never can water be so pure
It has to be an illusion
Yet it's not
Never have my thoughts seemed so loud
It's almost as if I can hear myself think
This feeling is strange
Almost scary
I feel free, unbound and happy
There's no rush
I'm running on my own time
I soak in the sun
Drown in the freshest of air
And have my eardrums caressed
With the sweetest of sweet
birds song
Oh how I could stay here forever
Then a bell drops
As I come to
It's break time
I have lost myself in my computer's screen saver
Only to realise
I have to now work through my break
To make up for
Lost time
