She calls herself a reformed hippie although now people see her more as an author and speaker about money and financial behaviour. She started off as a spoken word poet, became a blogger, got an MBA and eventually became a financial writer. She is now getting back into performing poetry again. She is working on a Cape to Cairo reality show on creating sacred spaces for spoken word poets and storytellers.
