Rosemund Handler has, so far, published four novels through Penguin. Us and Them (2012) is the story of a Jewish family shackled to its heritage and the effect of this on twin daughters. Tsamma Season (2009) is set in the Kalahari Desert and was shortlisted for the 2010 Commonwealth Prize, Africa region. Madlands (2011) is about a woman with bipolar disorder and was written during Rosemund’s MA in creative writing at UCT. Katy's Kid is the story of two sex workers and a child.
