Ros Wagener
Ros Wagener was born in 1940. She studied at the University of Cape Town, where she obtained a lower diploma in librarianship. She published the poem “Lily and Gem” in Presbies, Parsons & Poetry, compiled by M Hacksley (1997). Between 1978 and 1999 she published 14 poems in The Mowbray Times. She regards her poetic ability as an inspirational gift from God and beliefs that inspiration is transitory, lighting the soul for only a moment.
