Litnet

I was born in Cape Town and went to High School in Durbanville. I did two years’ military service on the SAS Umdloti (SA Navy) and moved to Durban to start work. I have been an intelligence practitioner since 1985. I spent time in various specialised fields in the intelligence environment, from surveillance to economic intelligence collection, before assisting in 1995 in the setting up of an organised crime and corruption unit.

In 1993 I married Wanda, also an intelligence officer at the time.

An Ordinary Day is my first published book, written over a two-year-period between 2003 and 2005.

I have a BA with majors in communication and criminology and a BA Honours degree in criminology.

I live in Hillcrest, KZN, and spend my free time with my wife and two boys aged 6 and 11.
