Percy Mabandu


Percy Mabandu was born and raised in Ga-Rankuwa, a township north of Tshwane, South Africa. Mabandu studied Fine Arts and journalism. His art works have featured in a number of exhibitions, including a DBSA (Development Bank of Southern Africa) Exhibition and The SOUL OF AFRICA International Exhibition. He has worked on theatrical productions: Consuming Shakespeare and the South African State Theatre’s 52 Seasons Poetry Programme. Mabandu’s poetry first appeared in Carapace. He works as a programmes co-ordinator and presenter for Tut Top Stereo 93.6, a community radio station in Tshwane.
