Nadia Neophytou

Nadia grew up in Benoni and at the age of 16 decided journalism was the path she wanted to follow. While completing a BA in Film, Media and Visual Studies from the University of Cape Town she became music manager at UCT Radio and Arts Editor at the student paper, Varsity.

In her second year she began writing for the Big Issue magazine and after graduating moved back to Joburg to be a research journalist at 3rd Degree, where she stayed for 2 and a half years. While at 3rd Degree she added “producer” to her list of accomplishments but her passion for arts and culture eventually won out and lead her to Primedia where she is now responsible for building the arts and entertainment coverage across the four radio stations.

She is also one of the finalists for the ACT Arts Correspondent Award in 2007.
