Kim McGowan
Kim McGowan was born in Durban and grew up there, in Germiston and in East London. After school he worked as a stoker on a steam engine, a counter-hop, a shark mesher, a newspaper reporter and sub-editor, and as the owner-editor of a tourism publication. He lives in Cape Town with his wife and two daughters.
