I am a ‘40-something' writer who has been writing poetry since I was ten years old. I am self-employed, with all the anxieties that that can bring. My mother, who introduced me to books and reading, is astounded at how much I read. Part of the attraction of books for me is the learning that they create and how they help to expand my world , in other words how they stimulate my mind. I love writing poetry and spend time everyday with a pen and notebook in hand allowing the universal muse to enter my creativity.
