Kathy Lemmon-Warde
Kathy Lemmon-Warde hasn't stopped reading books since she threw her television set into the garden, where it fizzled for a while before becoming a haven to insects and fairies alike. Writes poems covertly at work and at home, in the hopes that she will someday uncover the meaning of life in a metaphor. Thinks longingly back to the days when she was an English Literature student writing essays on Sylvia Plath, Jane Eyre and A Room of One's Own. Now lives modestly in the Southern Suburbs with her similarly studious husband. Kathy has written poems for amateur poetry websites since 1999 under the pseudonym Quillshadow. Her poem Drive to a fishing village appeared in print in Issue 3 of the UK-based poetry magazine The Wolf.
