Estelle Terblanche is ’n akteur/skrywer/filmmaker met ’n missie om betekenisvolle en vermaaklike werk te skep. Sy geniet ’n Paleo-leefstyl, gee Pilates, pas haar troeteldierpeetkinders op en poog om die wêreld een herbruikbare strooitjie op ’n slag te red. Sy is passievol oor stories vertel. Haar eerste liefde is toneelspel en sy streef dit met hope vasberadenheid na. Nadat sy haar BDram (Stellenbosch) voltooi het, met ’n fokus op teatertoneelspel en fisiese teater, het sy in die filmbedryf ondervinding opgebou deur in rolverdeling te werk. Sy het al internasionaal gereis en werkswinkels in Los Angeles voltooi, en sy glo dat waarneming en verbeelding die boustene van enige kreatiewe werk is. Estelle werk saam met ander kunstenaars, maar streef ook daarna om haar eie werk te skep sodat sy stories kan vertel waarin sy werklik glo. Haar skryfwerk sluit kortfilms, ’n televisiereeks, resensies, moordraaiseltekste, webreekse, blogs, ’n eenvrouvertoning en vollengtefilms in. Sy is op haar gelukkigste wanneer sy besig is om iets nuuts te skep!
Estelle Terblanche is an actor/writer/film-maker on a mission to create meaningful and entertaining work. She lives a Paleo lifestyle, teaches Pilates, pet sits her furry godchildren and attempts to save the planet one plastic-free shop at a time. She is passionate about telling stories. Her first love is acting and she has pursued this career with great determination. After completing her BDram (Stellenbosch) with a focus on theatre acting and physical theatre, she gained film industry experience as a casting assistant. She has travelled internationally and completed workshops in Los Angeles, and believes that observation and imagination are the building blocks of writing and performing. In addition to collaborating with other creatives, Estelle strives to create her own work in order to tell the stories she truly believes in. Her work includes writing for short films, a television series, reviews, murder mystery scripts, web series, blogs, a one-woman show and feature film scripts. She is at her happiest when she is busy creating something new!
