Heston Hoffman
He was born in 1984 in Durban. In between reading, writing, daydreaming and studying English at the University of Pretoria there is really not much else left to occupy his mind - unless of course you include that irrational and often rather erratic fear of a "claustrophobic cubicle life". Described by some (family members) as a professional student and by most as a compulsive loafer, he still maintains that after completing his degree he will take up his position in society either as a fish-packer in Alaska or as a lumberjack (albeit the scrawniest lumberjack in history). He has published poems in A Look Away (students’ art publication).
