The Pink Tongue is Independent Newspapers’ community newspaper for and about South Africa’s gay community. It was launched in 2007 and is a free monthly community newspaper distributed on the last Wednesday of each month. The editorial content reflects on matters concerning and relating to both the local and global gay communities, including homophobia, same-sex marriages and human rights, as well as general news, sport, entertainment, reviews and more.
